What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They let a site remember things between page views or visits — for example, keeping you signed in or remembering a preference you have set. Cookies cannot run programs or carry viruses, and they only hold the information a site chooses to store in them.
This policy explains which cookies the Dashlee website uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
The cookies Dashlee uses
Dashlee uses only strictly-necessary cookies — the ones the site needs in order to work securely and correctly. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
- PHPSESSID — a session cookie used to protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) and to run the admin area. It is essential for keeping your session secure.
- lang — a language-preference cookie that remembers whether you would like to see the site in English or Italian, so you do not have to choose each time.
Cookies during checkout (Stripe and PayPal)
When you make a payment, our payment providers set their own cookies to process the transaction safely and to help prevent fraud. These are set only during checkout:
- Stripe — for card payments.
- PayPal — for payments made through PayPal.
These cookies are managed by Stripe and PayPal under their own privacy and cookie policies. If you do not go through checkout, they are not set.
No advertising or third-party tracking
By default, Dashlee sets no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics or tracking cookies. We do not follow you across other websites and we do not sell your browsing behaviour. The only cookies involved beyond our own strictly-necessary ones are those set by Stripe and PayPal during checkout, as described above.
How to control cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view the cookies stored, delete them individually or all at once, and block cookies from some or all sites.
Please note that Dashlee's strictly-necessary cookies keep the site secure and working. If you block or delete them, parts of the site — including signing in and checkout — may not function correctly.
For step-by-step instructions, see the help pages for your browser (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge), which each provide a guide to managing cookies.
